64 and sunny in VA yesterday. The girls and I soaked up all we could and sat on the porch to say goodbye to the sun. Steady dropping today with snow on the way and 18 degree temps with a 50 mph wind coming. Thursday might see 32. Just don't understand how y'all do it.

The pot of morning coffee has been consumed. -chilly day on tap, but pretty nice overall. -lots of sunshine even if there is a brisk wind. Chicken chores call, then I get to take the daughter out for an off-campus lunch! -kind of a cool, school-wide reward program for maintaining straight As. -proud of the kid.

(Hmm. I'll be consuming the afternoon coffee "out" today. Nice!)

We have a Sunny +7 here today! We'll have a heat wave Saturday @ 27o then back to teens for a few more days. After that the weatherman are calling for more normal winter temps. I'll believe it when I see it!

To me, Starbucks from the shops has a burnt taste, but I like the Starbucks one cup K cups for use in the Keurig brewer.

From the shop - that's my thought too! But even the K-cups are a little strong. DD loves Starbucks ... any kind! Reminds me of my old pastor ( as in Retired - no longer pastoring) the stronger and longer it was on the warmer the better. Drank it morning , noon, and night! They moved to Tennessee and I miss them!

Ah, similar situation here. Hubby likes "black water" and whether it be regular or decaf, I like COFFEE!!! Thick, rich, black!
Mine is a sweety too and will often make me a fresh pot while I am outside so I must accept his gesture and drink it (after all, any coffee is better than no coffee) He will drink more than one cup a day usually only in winter where my measurement is normally not by the cup but by the POT. intake rarely varies, summer for me just means more yummy ice coffee

Yup, I figured out a solution to that problem. I use a #2 sized contraption that sits on my cup. I put a filter in it with my coffee, and pour steaming hot water from a kettle in it. Fresh coffee, and everybody can fix it how they like it
