Just came in from feeding , 14 degrees, fingers freezing fast to anything metal - how do you folks with really cold temperatures stand it???

Really need a smiley with hands clenching a mug for warmth.

Sour - I ask myself that every time I go outside, and there are people who get way colder! A week or so ago there was a 100 degree difference from inside the house and outside! BRRRRR. And yes, they should have a mug-clutching emoticon!

To me, Starbucks from the shops has a burnt taste, but I like the Starbucks one cup K cups for use in the Keurig brewer.

Your barista is burning your espresso then.
You can ask them to recalibrate their machine. That should help. Tell someone that it tastes burnt.

Supposed to be "cold" here tonight (24*F). We have a hard freeze warning and a wind chill advisory; IDK what all that means except very cold for a long time, and wind blows away heat.

So, I caught up all nine of my established flock and coated their combs (single combs like leghorns and RIRs) in coconut oil; they really liked that!!! It freaked out my three new chickens; thankfully, they have rose combs, so I didn't have to catch them up! *Whew!!!
