Sitting with a cup of coffee. (coffee lovers)

Still feeling draggy, but the idea of putting all of the dishes on the floor is a great idea! Between the dog and the rodents, they will be sparkly in no time!

As to vole stew..... My chief vole catcher is already feeling better, so I suppose that is possible. :lau maybe I will have him make up a batch and send it out to all ya'll folks. You can tell me how it tastes. I am planning on sticking to chicken soup.

Gotta heat up some coffee........

Think I made the spouse sick too...... We are a family of sharers. :D

It is 50 up here. Supposed to get down to 40. Watch me do a pretend brrrr, "brrrrrrrrr".

Talked to a long time resident, we have decided 35% chance this is spring, 75% chance we get eight feet in March.

:yuckyuck. All of them!

Ok seriously....EVERYONE who is sick PLEASE Get Well Soon!
Those who ARE NOT .... PLEASE Stay Well!

Just out checking on girls only 1 egg. That means I get to go out again! Yay!!!:yiipchick::weee... Not!

We had temps in the low teens a few nights ago; the temps just got back to where I expect them to be at this time of year. This morning, while I was taking DD to school, we passed a spray truck putting down de-icer in anticipation of what the weather guys are calling a "significant winter weather event" that's expected occur over the next couple of days. I'm doing an anticipatory "brrrr" just thinking about it.

That "polar vortex" brought that crud down here weeks ago. Taught kids to share all their lives- forgot to teach them not to share those germs. Alaskan, I hope you get over it quick. For us, the bad was only a day or two but the rest lingers on for weeks. Good luck! Now could you send the warmth? 50 today-24 and snow/ice tomorrow. We are not used to this mess. At least a day for all waterers to thaw out to be ready for the frigid temps the next few nights. Stay warm and well everyone!!

I thought chicken math is a requirement for this site.

And anyway, if you listen to any sports at all, you know that complete participation is 110%. :D

1) Sources say Polar Vortex and Artic Blasts are caused by Alaskan voles that are overworked and panting too hard.

2) Chicken math 102 is required, But 101 will get you accepted.
