The problem with snow in Fla (and the South), is that we're not equipped or prepared for it. They put road dirt on the bridges here b/c we don't have salt trucks or sand trucks to de-ice the roads. Twelve ppl died in Atlanta (or somewhere up in GA), and they want to blame it on the gov'er?!?!?!?!? No, you chose to go out in the fluttery white stuff you never see and you chose to drive in it in your vehicle equipped (sort of) for mud and water, not snow and ice!!! It's your fault you're dead, not anybody else's!!!!!

Ugh, not a morning person. I was up all night with my dad and his shotgun--coyotes were crazy last night, coming right up to the house. Freaking scary...

Oh, no! We had a coyote scare a couple of weeks ago. I don't think they came out of the woods, but they came right up to the edge of the yard!
We put our big dog out there to protect our smaller (not small, just smaller than her daddy) outdoor dog. We haven't heard anything from them.
Now that you mention it, I think I'll send DH out there to see if there are any fresh tracks. Maybe they figured my few little chickens weren't worth the effort (and my little backyard she-dog). Oh, I do hope they're gone never to return!!!

I knew all of it before they taught it. Algebra class was the only place I really learned anything (well, English class too; I still don't follow the rules of writing lol)
