Received 2" of "partly cloudy" this afternoon................................preamble to the main event I guess.


Person who was so very in love with my rooster Max and wanted him so badly that she emailed me three times in a row, gave me all her phone numbers and made me promise to hold on to him until Sunday. She would call when they were on their way to pick him up. You guessed it, no call, no email, zip. Sent an email in the p.m. asking to let me know if there was a problem, or if they had changed their mind, I would understand, just please let me know. Waited rest of day. Nada. No word. Finally a short email this p.m. today. No apology just a short, "husband said he would rip the feathers off our hens so re-post him...Max".

Thank you. Sometimes people make it very hard to........... No wonder I love my animals so much!!!

BTW--unless an angel shows up to claim him, and I mean a real one, or he eats one of my girls, Max is staying right where he is.

Thanks to everyone for all the wonderful welcomes. Sorry I haven't been on but being today was St.Pattys and I'm 100 percent irish it was a busy day of corned beef and cabbge lots of ummmm liquid merriment and singing at the top of our lungs hahha. And yep the coffee with the irish in iit was on the list.
