Don't you just love spring??? I'm still here just still not typing well again yet (one hand under the heating pad right now) but i have been keeping up with the reading.

just rumblin' and rainin' here with a chance of snow later in the week. No worries, this time it won't stick.

Chicks are doing great. No shipping losses (ordered extra just in case) so the "extras" went to their new home with my neighbor yesterday. Working out great because she still has the better conformed brother to the BA roo I just re-homed and these chicks are pure BA's.

Soooo, when she asked how much she owed me for the chicks, I just sweetly smiled and said "I get the first pullet chick born from these and Max (her BA roo)!!! Should have seen the look on her face! PRICELESS

Ok' coffee cup is empty and hand needs more heat so BBL

Hello Everyone!

My uncle was military vet, he drank it black and hot! I have a scar from sticking my elbow in his cup accidentally at age 4. He was devastated and I was in awe of the blister and healing process!

I wasn't attracted to the smell or taste of coffee growing up but by my third child I was hooked!
I love a milder roast and flavor is a must! I don't care for sugar or artificial sweetener, I'm not too sure about the liquid flavors like the big coffee houses use either.
I go between International Delight and Walmart brand, I'm not a designer type! lol
French Vanilla is OK for a work day but on the weekend when I've got a minute to kick back and get to know my new chicks I go for Vanilla Cinnamon or Italian Sweet Cream and this past winter we found peppermint mocha at work and that's on my top 5 list!

Just this weekend I was sitting with a fresh brewed hot cup of java thinking "What will my daughter name the newest Red Sex Link chicks?" The red coming in is just beautiful!
There is no better way to enjoy a cup than while watching the spring chicks learn to get up on the roosting bars. The older ones mothering them and deciding who's gonna be the Head Chick is good for a giggle or two.

Just another day out here in Our Own Meadow...
