Sitting with a cup of coffee. (coffee lovers)

Big storm knocked out several tree limbs and the internet! But not the coffee...

:hugs

Personally, I think that being internet-less is worse than no power. :th happy you had coffee. :D

I'd love that too! Because of allergy issues we make a lot off our food from scratch and I'd love to hear about new recipes as well.

Which allergies? I have one no gluten child and one no pig child.

The babies are coming! The babies are coming! It's day 23 and I was so close to just giving up this morning. When the birds were let out even my broody came running so I figured she gave up too. Nope! She ran around the house, waited for her nest to be brought to her, and crawled right on the eggs. While I had them, I checked for pipping and any sign of babies. One peeped so with a deep breath I set the nest down. The way her box was disturbed, figured the other hen laid an egg on her. Pick up the broody, saw the cracks, and quickly set her back down! Oh! I can't wait!! :yiipchick

Now that I've got that out....

Alaskan- I get bad migraines with certain preservatives so almost anything processed or in a box is out. My son has a milk and nut allergy and my one daughter is allergic to chocolate. I feel for you with the no gluten! That's a hard diet to follow!

Actually, we have gotten pretty good with the no gluten thing. And luckily, it is Celiacs, not a death allergy... So, not the end of the world if we screw up. :D

I am not sure how people manage children with death allergies. I have friends who have three kids, two of them have death allergies, and their mom is a nervous wreck. I don't blame her.

The Dr. tried to tell me I had a problem with gluten but they changed it to diverticalitis. (spelling?) what ever it is I can relate it is awful! Poor thing! We have kids with allergies here and it sucks!

No My son is in major melt down mode School/friends/job.... I am doing stuff like long drives to help him get back on an even keel. Very long story.... Just stuff that goes with a brilliant mind passing up his emotional maturity....

sigh.

Keep a close watch--some mental illnesses start after high school and into college with males. We see it often here at UC Davis.
