Grogg is what pirates drink. Glögg is a Swedish (and Finnish) Christmas time favorite, a bit like the German glühwein or hot cider. You can get the non-alcoholic kind at Ikea around Christmas.

Here's what's in a Finnish non-alcoholic glögg:


You can drink it as is after heating it (it's actually pretty good cold too), or spruce it up with vodka, red wine or Glühwein.

I really only like it if I am outside and cold....like at an open air market in the winter....

We had a cold front come in yesterday and the wind was blowing and it was cold most all day. I had to wear long pants and a jacket to feed and water yesterday.
I was hoping for fall before winter
