A balmy 10 F this morning!!!

We had terrible winds and some white"sugar" last night. It's about melted now but still a little too windy for me. Unfortunately I did not get all my coop work finished yet. Next week we'll have about 3 decent days for outdoor work.
I have my list to check off. I think I can do most in about 1 day so that really means at least 2 if not the full 3.

It was 50 this morning. I am not ready for cold!!!

Didn't we just do this last year?

My son is all,"Ah! This weather is great! crisp and clear. This is GREAT!" He beams.


Me on the other hand, ... not so much.

 Give me something in the 80's and I won't be crabby.  

I do not know how you all survive snow.

That is EXACTLY how I feel!!

And it is snowing now...lots.....I can barely see the tree outside the window.

I am drinking my coffee, trying to not look out the windows. Gotta go into town now though....spouse wants to bond.

The kids are sweet, they have told me it is just lots of dryer lint out there.

I was under the weather most of the day yesterday couldnt even drink my coffee.... Lovely four shots my usual with Cinnamon syrup added. Couldnt drink it.

So this morning I woke up with a thundering headache and I thought Coffee is what I need. So went to get coffee this morning and ordered up a Dirty Chi Latte with four shots in it...

so now I sit in the afternoon with a sip of Dirty Chi and a sip of Cinnamon

Its going to be an EIGHT shot day

We got to our nursery this morning and we had lost a roof.
The fortunate bit is we sold enough plants last week to replace it, and it won't get too cold to kill the rest off before we get the new one on.
But still.
I know it is farming, but STILL!

Do not encourage your young ones into agriculture.
It is better for it to just be a happy hobby.
An expensive hobby.


...like horses.

Yes it is. DSO "farms" 22 acres or so with his son. So far only good for taxes. But then who am I to say anything...with my big "egg business"..

'twas windy.
We knew it was coming. We replaced one house roof with the last big hurricane, and this has been holding on for five years past its expiration date, Another is hanging on with spit and glue, so I won't complain.
However, I went from this morning's coffee straight into the wine, so for now, Everything is okay!

Weather is cooling here too. We had a freeze last night. Picked up our new llamas today. I wanted to post pics but our internet is down. Maybe tomorrow. Watching kids play wii and sipping wine. Ill need the coffee in the morning with the time change.
