shush! super quiet! Spouse just walked into the room, I was doing stuff, walked back to the couch, and noticed that I have melted some chocolate into the leather couch. I tried getting it up, but it looks welded...thought spouse would notice, I stuck a paper towel on the spot, and am now sitting back down on top of it.

How will I get this cleaned up without spouse seeing it?

super sorry for the heart ache.
I have 51/2 year old hens and I get one egg a week from the ten of them...I wish I could do the deed,
I'm useless. and ironically -eggless....

Thanks for including the link. I was going to search them on BYC.
I did that, but they don't seem to actually be on BYC; although, there are several posts that come up in the search. It seems that someone used to post egg and chick and hatching info.
They're not far from me, so I might be able to get DH to take me and DD there.

Hope you get that chocolate off the couch. IDK what to tell you. The fat in chocolate is fat soluable and the sugar is water soluable. Hmmmmmmm....... IDK.

Sheesh! Looks like I will be sitting on this spot of chocolate all day!

Turns out that I messed up in shopping....I was supposed to buy a turkey breast, and I bought something that turns out to be a hunk of smashed together turkey meat. Spouse is having to read through cookbooks, trying to figure out what the spouse wants to do with this meat.

Arg!

Luckily the boys are doing the majority of the slaughtering.... The time I ran out to help them, I covered the chocolate spot with my blanket.

Maybe that is why it didn't come off at all in my fast wipe! I used just water, didn't have enough time to grab soap.
