Sitting with a cup of coffee. (coffee lovers)

To whomever asked a million posts ago, I am a football fan. I grew up in a house that was just my dad and two older brothers. I learned to love football in self defense. Now living in northern Wisconsin, being a Packer fan is almost a residency requirement!!!

Ron-sounds like I might have to check that pot out. I have an espresso machine gathering dust just like Vehve and for the same reason.

Oh no!!! An egg nog recipe!!! I'm doomed!!! I have enough problem with the higher quality stuff you can find in the stores during the holidays, if I start making it at home, welllllll,

I like the pot too and also have a machine collecting dust. I use my keurig more than anything now. Your fat chick looks like me!

They make aluminum moka pots that are not as expensive as the stainless steel. Non of them are complicated or cost hundreds of dollars though.

I like my Nespresso machine the best, it's the most low maintenance option. I like Caffé Americano, although most of the Mediterranean coffee purists think it's a bit of an abomination (hence the name

). Moka coffee makers are nice too, in my opinion the prettiest and easiest to use is the Moka Express, manufactured by Bialetti. They cost between 30 and 100 euros depending on the size. Mine is a knockoff, but works well. They are made of aluminium, and look like this:

You fill the bottom part with water all the way to the pressure valve. Then you fill the funnel part with freshly ground espresso, and you screw the top on it. The top part has a removable rubber seal and a metal filter cap attached to the bottom. You put it on a stove, and the very second the coffee starts guzzling out through the top, you remove it from the stove and let the coffee go through. The coffee is very tasty, and sort of in between espresso and regular coffee. You don't get the nice crema you get with an espresso machine, because it doesn't build as much pressure, but the taste is great.

Percolated coffee was so much better than drip. Threw ours out decades ago because of published dangers, do y'all remember that, or am i just showing my age again?
