Sitting with a cup of coffee. (coffee lovers)

I've seen those plastic bators on ebay and was leery they might not work. Nice to know they do.

I have had a couple of doves hanging around since last year eating a little chicken feed when they could steal a bit but I think they told all their friends. Now I have them everywhere. And all the seed I thew out to plant for my birds has become free food for all the doves! I did not mind a few but now I don't know what to do!

LOL...i thought all incubators were plastic!! So what other kinds are there??

My Dh would love to but there are so many cows that in any direction if we shoot we could hit a cow and it is not really worth it. I guess I will just have to figure something out for my seed to grow. :) thanks though.

Use a shot gun, scatter setting, with bird shot. It will not go very far and the cow would be fine even if the pellets hit them from a fairly shot distance.

Id think twice about taking that chance, we had a cow accidentally shot by a pheasant hunter at roughly 50 yards, the pellets penetrated the skin and she got badly infected despite all our efforts at keeping it clean

You have to make sure you use bird shot with the shell with less grains of gun powder.

Doves are a game bird - what are the hunting regs in your area regarding them?
Yes, it is not dove season here now. We would have to wait until the fall.
