Oh My Gawd yahhh.... your butt whould first have Sevorskie shaped prints then Sevorski shaped sores... No she makes those for photo ops I am sure...

I have to admit Ilike a little bling just in the form of a few nice real silver conchos on a western.... And even on an english I have seen some pretty ornimentation done on the cantle just little dots that sparkle... dots of silver not crystal.

If you are showing you dont want anyone to focus in on your legs or seat or hands.... because the moment they do they are going to spot some sort of fault.

But my saddle went every where... up mountains through deep water through scratchy Chaparal.... Just in the course of riding trail. And I rode in a very nice German made Dressage saddle... loved my Steubben Traistan... the only change i made was putting a breast collar on it when I was going to be brush popping.

I think functional items are a lot prettier, you don't need crystals on a saddle.

Al, the sliding is okay on flat ground, but when you get a bit of a gradient it gets interesting. And even on flat the cleats are really nice, you can run and stuff.

Now I have to think of something positive to say because I feel I'm being awfully negative. It's because I forgot I made myself a cup of coffee and by the time I remembered it was already getting cold. Hmm, something positive... Oh yeah, the chicks are getting more agile, they were up on the top roost this morning

Some people buy saddles as art; I suspect most of the people who would be interested in a saddle like that would never get it near a horse.

Crazy, crazy weather here. We had thunderstorms yesterday - yeah, thunderstorms in January. Today's high was hit around midnight; we are going to do a slow slide down to near the freezing mark by dawn tomorrow morning. So we have thick, gooey, boot-sucking mud everywhere. When that freezes, of course, it's like navigating a lava field; ankle-turning time! Hopefully won't be cold enough to do that anytime in the near future.

It's ankle turning time here too. We had -13C last night around eight, by three in the morning it was +2C. And the next week looks like it's going to be circling around both sides of freezing. I just got all the snow that fell in the weekend cleared away from paths and the parking lot, it would have gotten pretty interesting if I would have left it there.

Tea, congrats on coop of the week!

Would someone please post the link to coop of the week please?
I can not find it.
I go to my posted page and stick to the same threads. otherwise I would never get off of here.
Thanks.
