Sitting with a cup of coffee. (coffee lovers)

Beautiful day here. Working on the llama shed.

Cool, I bet they'll like that.

By the way, what is really the difference between alpacas and llamas?
Llamas (Latin name, Lama glama) are considerably bigger, and were originally bred as beasts of burden. They are believed to be descended from the wild Guanaco (Lama guanacoe). The Alpaca (Vicugna pacos) is considerably smaller, and has always been bred for the fiber it produces. It is believed to be descended from the Vicuna (Vicugna vicugna).

I got an espresso machine and accessories for christmas. Enjoying a breve salted Carmel macciatto this morning. Day dreaming about my ten mottled orpington chicks I am getting this week.

correct on all the above llama/alpaca statements.

Whew! Tired. Might have to have an afternoon cuppa.

Just because I haven't posted them lately, here are some of my llamas.

Ladyhawke, Denalli, Sonora

Flaming Star, Shaboom

I may be headed to a small animal auction on Saturday to rid my self of some roos. Hopefully I will not return with any birds.
