Sitting with a cup of coffee. (coffee lovers)

Do mallards need a lot of water? Are they loud?

My bf said lumber gets delivered on Wednesday for raised beds and my new duck pen with raised pond :) SQUEEL!!

And he said I can get turkey chicks, adult cortunix quails, adult female ducks (I'm looking for cayuga, indian runner and khaki campbell) and duck hatching eggs. Let the chicken math expand!

Up at 5 am to check mudroom dog barking and went ahead with making java. Threw hay and was thanked with a happy dance(spring fever?) that promptly covered me in muck. Good morning.

Thank you. I am in the country on almost 7 acres. I put my flock list in my signature along with my family.

My brother-in-law and his wife live in San Diego. It looks beautiful in pictures but I love living in the country. I grew up in the country. When I married my husband, we lived in a city for 20 years, so it is nice to be back in the country. I still have neighbors and a grocery store.

I see that you have neighbors and a grocery but......Do you have trash service? Is your road gravel, black top or concrete? Have you heard a whip-or-will or a loon?

I have 5 and a kiddy pool or a 40 gallon stock tank is plenty of water for them. I am not familiar with other breeds. They quack some but noe a lot. I like the color of the Drake.
