Got a good look today! 5 chipmunks, 1 black! I'll have to figure out who the mamas are later but the black is a Cochin mix. Can't wait to see the development!

Surprisingly he LOVES the dishwashing part.... too funny I cant get him to touch a dish here. The guys on duty last night had a mutt and Jeff team... The youngest there is still in high school. I pray he focuses in on the stuff that was good. His next day will be on Thursday.

More bad news from the Avian Flu front. Two more commercial turkey operations in Minnesota are hit and now Mike the Chicken Vet from Canada is passing on a report from the Canadian Animal Health Network that the flu has been officially located in Ontario, sorry.

My son has been taking these.

He says they help. He went almost all year without any problem and I saw him pull the bottle out this morning and he said, "AP Physics exam coming up."

You, too? I used to think that was just me - my parents made me ask permission to use the phone when I was growing up, and I wasn't allowed to talk for long (my dad was a minister, so it was a "business phone.") Then I noticed that my husband's voice goes up half an octave when he talks on the phone, and he didn't have that problem growing up . . .

For some reason, my voice goes down in pitch when I answer the phone - I can't tell you how many times people have called me "sir" after I've said "hello," only to figure it out in the next sentence or two. Particularly in the mornings, when even my normal voice gets pretty croaky!
