Sitting with a cup of coffee. (coffee lovers)

How about zombie turtles? How would you tell them apart from the normal ones? Or slugs, for that matter?

so that is how you tell the difference between a high school kid and a zombie? One does not sleep and the other can't get up in the morning?

Very full but very blessed day. Pa is nodding peacefully in pain drug fog in his recliner after having hernia surgery this morning. A bit longer than scheduled because the surgery was a bit more "involved" once they had him "zipped" but everything put back together just fine. NOW comes the hard part. Getting this man to follow dr's orders and not chop wood, drag the field, throw feed sacks, etc. for the next month. Figure I should get him to behave as long as he still has trouble shuffling to the bathroom without drugs. Once the pain lets go tho I know all bets are going to be off and the fight will be on!

The down side to having a hard working man who can't sit still.

Chicki, the worst part of hernia repair surgery for me was the physical restrictions. On day 3 post surgery the Princess caught me on top on one of my lofts working on a 'settling' cage. All I heard was, "Not particularly intelligent!" as the door slammed behind her. Tell him to be prepared for discoloration of various body parts - it's normal, but freaked me somewhat.

I feel your pain. Been there - done that. Also, my hubby came out of an out patient knee surgery and the drugs they gave him were so good, he wanted to walk to the car and then drive me home.

My hubby had the mesh stuff put in and it bothered him for a while because it was so stiff at first but he hasn't said any thing about it in ages so I guess it softened up.

I guess his was a little higher, I don't remember any discolored parts.

I'm sure I would have noticed as I always get the "could you look at this?" job.

Don't forget the cattle prod.
