Chicki, the worst part of hernia repair surgery for me was the physical restrictions. On day 3 post surgery the Princess caught me on top on one of my lofts working on a 'settling' cage. All I heard was, "Not particularly intelligent!" as the door slammed behind her. Tell him to be prepared for discoloration of various body parts - it's normal, but freaked me somewhat.

Yep. we were warned several times by his dr about the potentially "colorful" side effects

Isn't that what handcuffs and shackles were invented to solve?

I feel your pain. Been there - done that. Also, my hubby came out of an out patient knee surgery and the drugs they gave him were so good, he wanted to walk to the car and then drive me home.

Morning all.

I did not sleep good last night. I helped a friend set up and man a booth at an event yesterday and I made the mistake of having too much caffeine too late and could not get to sleep. Then to top it off I had set a reminder for something I have going this evening and apparently I set AM instead of PM so my phone went off at 4:30 this morning.

Need lots of coffee or I will be


Luckily, my friend own a coffee shop and since I promised to help her put things back from the event this morning, she is paying me in coffee,

We love our duck too. She is very sweet. They are surprisingly different from chicks. Watching the difference in development was interesting to me.
