Sitting with a cup of coffee. (coffee lovers)

I think I just like to spend time with my husband, so I have never had the 'hubba hubba' thing for anyone... Is that too square?
I have never been a fan of anything more than a person's talents. or their character. I see differently.

Models would starve if the world were like me... oh, wait they are starving....they'd be poor and hungry, not just hungry.

I look... But then I been single all my life. I Used to tell people there would be a sonic boom on the way to vegas if I ever got asked... But these days I am pretty mus mueh on the subject. Going to be 60 june 9th

If you get a chance please check out the Virginia thread. A guy has told me twice of his problem. Last year and now this year but with different chickens, not sure if he got rid
Of all last years chickens. My thoughts are if he had this same problem last year and now this year but different chickens he may be doing some thing wrong. So if you(everyone) dont mind, suggestions are welcome. I have not had this problem. I dont want this problem. If anything happens I would certainly want everyones input! And anyones output! What he never said was how many chickens in what size of space nor did he say if he supplied a nest box. He did say he changed the feed. Suggestions please

I went there and gave your answer an ovation.

I did not find the original post but your answer is good.

Blue jays will also break the eggs so wild birds can be a cause of broken eggs. Sadly many will cull the hens instead of fixing the real problem which often times is mites, lice or worms. Then they do not want to treat with medicine. Many of the same people will give worm medicine to their dog but not a chicken. Squash seeds and DE? Get some real Medicine!

I'm so excited, it's taking everything for me to not open and help the chick break out of there. I am a little concerned, where the chick pipped, it's bloody. Idk how much, I can just see red there. Is that normal, is the chick ok??? I'm having my morning cup hovered over the view window today!!! :celebrate

@TurnerEGGZ - Sounds like the chick may have pipped near a blood vessel on the inside of the shell. Which end of the egg is pipped? Normally, the pip should be near the larger end. Since this is where the air sac develops, there wouldn't be any blood vessels for the chick to hit. I've had quite a few chicks come out of the wrong end (for some reason, my Seramas seem particularly prone to doing that). Chicks often sit behind a pip for a long time; it's all part of the process. One very important part is the closing down of those blood vessels as the chick begins to breathe on its own; an egg that is fully ready to hatch won't bleed.

I know, it's so hard to be patient; some eggs do eventually need help, but doing it too soon can kill the chick. Sending good hatching vibes your way!
