My life is a weekend.

Definitely like a Monday. Too much to do and too little time to do it in! No matter, it's coffee break time for me. :yiipchick

I hear rumbling outside too. I guess I should take a look at radar and see what we're in for. Fortunately, all the brooder chicks are at the 3 week mark so they are a little sturdier now, should the power go out. It went out when they were one week old and they survived 4 or 5 hours worth of no heat before I discovered the power had gone off in the night. It's warmer now than then so it should be okay even if it does.

I'm not sure if my life is a weekend or just a series of weekdays.  Something for me to ponder while I sip my coffee.

I don't have time to ponder, so for now I'm going to assume that mine's a series of weekdays with lots of coffee breaks. lol

Of course coffee breaks include brownies, cookies, or other good food, as well as a one gallon jug of coffee.

Yup.  I've lived in Fla all my life and I hate fireants almost as much as I hate cockroaches!!!

We have been missing you!!! Hopefully you have been gone doing fun spring/summertime stuff.

Today was the first day we actually weeded the garden bed and mowed.


Some years we never mow...simply because I don't think it is a big deal.... however I gotta say, a mowed lawn sure does look all kinds of pretty!

we only mowed the south side lawn... the grass on the north side of the house isn't really growing yet.
