Sitting with a cup of coffee. (coffee lovers)

Most of the time, I feel like my nose is barely above the surface of the water . . . . but whether my husband should get the credit or the blame for that, I'm never quite sure . . . .

I'm thinking credit for Critter. He probably has lots of experience at bailing.

Do what I am doing, I hit 50 and now I am working my way back down, so you'll be 40.
Age is this thing that we measure time by, but time is not a line that goes from point A to point B. Time is a big puddle. That is why we have
deja vu's. We are near a spot we are going to be swimming in 'later'

(My son and I have weird conversations)

The wife quit aging a while ago....

2 Alaskans were paddling along a river and got really cold. They collected twigs and branches along the way. They started a small fire in their craft. It sank....proving once again "You cant have your kayak and heat it too"

Morning everyone.
Thank you to those who shared their condolences and kind words, your understanding was very much appreciated. To those who thought, "big deal it was just a chicken", thank you for your silence. Yes, miss Noodle was "just a chicken", but a very special one not just to me but to everyone that met her. I was blessed that she was in my life, I just thought that it would be for a bit longer. I had hoped we would grow old together.
As for those that think animals do not understand the concept of "death", I have seen it and know that they do. Do they comprehend it in the way that we do? I honestly don't know, probably not, but they just might in their own way understand it better than we.

In any case, rest in peace sweet Miss Noodle, your friend once again quietly joined me in the coop this morning, looked up at the place where you last lay down in the pine chips, softly purred for a moment, then slipped quietly back outside into the morning. We both will remember you.
