I didnt like the name Nitty at first, But then I added Little to it and all I do all day is try to re-wright the song Little Bitty.
Its all right to be Little Nitty
In the house with a big ole Kitty,
Might as well smile, might as well share
Life goes on with a Little Nitty flair!
just the *Crazy Lady* at work. I sing silly turned around songs with my Grand daughter and she loves the animal ones. *Crazy Lady* is what she calls me to distinguish which Grandma she is talking about.
Her other Grandma has a Great Dane so she is *Big Puppy*. SOOO I guess that means I got some Crazy.? I can live with that![]()
GRANDMA = COOLEST JOB EVER!
I, personally, would prefer "Crazy Lady" over "Big Puppy".
When I was little, we called one set of g-parents "Gramma and Grampa" and the other set "Grandmother and Grandfather". My maternal great-grandparents were Granny and Gramps and Gramma-Margaret and Granddaddy Neil.
Sometimes I wonder what my grandchildren will call me.
LOL!!!!
Verylong story here
When my son was about three or four My dad used to tease him by calling him a little Frog. Dean Hated that... MY NAME IS DEAN... he would say... But dad would persist on other days getting a giggle out of how adamant Dean was.
So MY grandpa's name Was Fred...
Now the two grandmas... MOM and MY grandma both were short and had curly hair... And before he went to school they would alternate days to keep him while I worked.
ONe day I was driving him to one of the grandmas houses... he asked me where we were going... I said to Grandmas house... Then I thought of describing the one... but totally lost how to do it because they were virtually physically identical to a four year old....
Then He settled it with an exasperated question. 'Is it Grandma Frog or Grandma Fred !?|"
FRom that day on its been the Freds or the Frogs... or Grandma and Grandpa Frog and Grandma and Grandpa Fred.
we still call em that.

I'm going to an auction today too! It'll be my first, and I'm really excited! I'll also be going again next week to hopefully get rid of all 10 extra roostersMorning everyone!just popping in to wish everyone a great weekend and hoping none of my coffee drinking friends have been hit once again by horrible storms. Nice up here except we were covered in ice again. Fortunately this should be the last frost for a while. Good thing we covered most of the garden crops last night. I forgot to cover the special plot of potatoes and they got hit hard, but fortunately they weren't up that far yet so they should recover
Now I have to get moving because I'm off to town. Have to get there early and it's 45 minute drive. There is a huge farm/business/antique auction today at the same time as the annual city wide rummage sale. (I use the term "city" lightly, it is the only place in the entire county with a stoplight. In fact, the highway got so busy on the north side when the Walmart went in they had to put in another one!!!
) Have a great weekend everyone!
