Sitting with a cup of coffee. (coffee lovers)

its sad but it was time shucks I don't know many large dogs that last 15 years. he was our hero saved our son once he was torn up but my baby was just fine not a scratch on him!
I am sorry for your loss pets are tough they seem to know more about us then even humans if they don't sense it we usually tell them and they always know which ear will make us feel better if we scratch it.

My Chickens always know when a good ole fashioned hunt will make me feel better and they take me hopper hunting. lots of fun much like chasing a naughty chicken around

Yeah, it sounds fun, I can't do that because my garden is connected to other 3 houses: my uncle's house, (who hates me) an abandoned house, (there lives an opposum) and a neightbor house who also has chickens but he doesn't care too much about them (he just feed them and gives them water, but he doesn't clean constantly and one of his chickens, one that unlike the others isn't caged, believes my garden is hers too :rant besides my dog was only 5 years old and a miniature poodle, I went to check on her in the morning, and she was just lying there, lifeless; when I went to the vet to ask what could have happened she didn't know either, she said my dog was perfectly healthy, that maybe she was depressed.

I had a friend with a minature Yorkie once the dog died because it ate a stick and the stick caused internal damage. Kinda delicate little ones. I lovwe Opossum they eat snakes! even the poison ones. Just pull the bugs you find by the garden or set out a couple of stones or logs and water them. you will be amazed what kind of goodies you will find in just a couple of days under that! Your ladies will love you for it!

I would like some of that too please.

So it occurred to me that I may use this forum to complain while holding my sign.

I just wanted to take a moment and thank all of you for putting up with me and helping me out

through a rough start of the year. I appreciate you all. I wanted to share a quick story. On July 3 I got a phone call from my olderst DD. She says "So I have a wedding to go to tomorrow" I said who gets married on *INDEPENDENCE DAY?" She said "I guess they want to always have fireworks on their anniversary" She continues with "I need a pedicure! Would you come with me?" I said "UM YES!" So we spent 4 hours getting pampered feet and hands! I also got a shamefully bright Orange color of nail polish that I am probably too old to pull off but got it anyway!

Sometimes I tend to share the bad and not the good so I just wanted to take a moment and share the good!

Also even now I am still unable to convince my DH of the wonders of a pedicure! I must say to all who are reading and have never treated yourself to one, It is a must! the only thing that would have made it better was if I remembered to bring in my coffee cup!

I just might have to start giving them to my chickens. That is how wonderful they are!

Thanks for the tip! I hope they like it :D they're kinda picky though, I gave them lettuce and they only ate it mixed with their food, same goes for apple slices :/

Yeah I love pedis too :D I think my chickens already tried it, when they get their feet too dirty, I wash them with warm water

I bet those Chickies get their feet dirty on purpose! I would Everyday and twice on Saturday and Sunday .. it'd be like yes again we should really fix that hose it makes so much mud. My ladies love lots of things that are not really good for them but I love to watch them run for it! Like mac and Cheese is a favorite! and the Chicks love it when I mix apple sauce in their feed.
I bet I would too, I bet they love the mac and cheese, and apple sauce sounds like a really good idea :)
