Al I am all about the air.... the feel and the smell and the texture.... even how it carries sound.

Even if its 110 degrees out as long as there is a breeze (always a breeze in the desert) i am happy. Cant do much physically but I will be out in the yard .... Just Being ... sitting under the umbrella tree... absolute shade under them hence the name. Lots of Ice tea or plain old room temperature water. No alcahol when its that hot.

But this time it was abuout eighty with a breeze so it felt chill a bit. Perfect temperature up there. Smells carry.. sage... chemise.. something deserty sweet I suspect was Desert Lilac.... and you can tell which direction the water is. just by smell. but you knew that.

sigh...

If it was 110 degrees, heaven is not the place I would think I was in.... It would be the other place!

When it hits 80 degrees, I look at my life and try to reform it. I do not do well in hot places.

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood!
17o F when I got up but quickly warmed up into the 20's so the chooks are happily running around trying to find new shoots in the dry grass. Yes, we even have ground! Well, at least today anyway. Had a warm snap that brought rain and combined with the sun now higher in the sky we only have snow left in the shady spots. Today anyway. Supposed to turn a bit puky the rest of the week with snow maybe moving back in starting tonight. Such is spring in frozen tozen land, heh duluthraphie??? Oh, and I agree about the 80o thing. We hit 90o once last summer and I was throwing icecubes in the chicken water and shaving the poor puppy. It was horrible!!!
