Antigo WI. The two kids that were shot are doing great. We know that if our police force had not been trained like they were it could have been much much worse. They now know that he had positioned himself outside the doors with a rifle planning to pick off the kids as they came out as the dance ended. Please remember the officer that took him out in your prayers. We've heard he's taking "doing his job" really hard. Antigo is one of those towns where almost everybody knows everybody either directly or thru their children. The whole town (the whole county actually since that is our only real highschool) is having nothing but the highest praise for all our officers and the way it all was handled. Why the shooter, who graduated himself from our highschool a year earlier, did it? They're still searching for answers.

There are no answers to something like that.
It may have been what is called 'suicide by police'.
There are troubled minds out there.
We hate the idea of 'it takes a village' and 'big brother', but... All of us need to be mindful of when people start to lose their minds.

Not certain where you were located, I did a Google search on 'Prom Shooting' . Scary indeed the number of incidents that were located. This lack of respect for 'LIFE' is something that I am totally unable to grasp.
