Sitting with a cup of coffee. (coffee lovers)

Have you tried the runners' Knee straps? I do not think you need to be a runner to get the same benefit from them.
It holds the tendon up so that the knee cap does not hit against the bone.
It might be worth a try.

Unfortunately Most devices and aids just dont fit. My legs are shaped like ice cream cones. and my circulation cant handle any kind of restrictions the pix below was me 40 pounds ago. My left leg was the one repiared.

I have tried a ton of different supports they really do no good. When I ask the Doc what I can do he always says " you can have it replaced."

I have had surgery on it twice before, It is bone on bone so not much can be done until I stop being a stubborn old goat....

What @goodeggs said.... Knee Replacement has gone to the nth degree these days They have you walking within 24 hours and from what I have been told the pain for recovery is NOTHING like the pain of Bone on bone....

Grandma who was 94 at the time fell and snapped the ball off her hip joint. They had her in surgery within 24 hours and in a recovery facility within 48. only because of her advanced age. But she was discharged after a week and a half..... Once the stitches came out and she was walking with her walker.

Better to do it now while you can help your self than later ....

Me... Mine is just cartillage that needs to be cleaned up and a bit of arthritis. Now that I have health care I am hopefull we can address this once I get down by a hundred pounds.

It seems to be the catch 22 of losing weight, you need to lose weight to have the strength and energy to lose the weight.
Once I got on these new allergy shots I finally had enough energy to start exercising. It was misery being so tired before.
