You know its gonna be one of 'those' days when the first words you hear in the morning is, "Wake up! There's a giant, dead rat hanging in the tree!" Ugh!

I would've left it, but it was right outside the kitchen window where you were forced to see it. Then there's the problem of what to do with it when you finally get it down from the tree. It was too big to sit in the garbage, baking in the heat all week & my dry, clay soil is too hard to dig. For a second I considered putting it in the can of the neighbor who never takes his trash in, but ultimately I took it for a ride down to the gas station & threw it in their trash. Probably not the right thing to do, but I tried to make up for it by also throwing away a large coffee cup that was rolling around the parking lot. ...Its funny how everything comes full circle back to coffee.

ah what fun we have raised three cats in the my old shasta trailer
we cut a whole for them to come in and out under closet where a outside
storage hatch it had the other day I go out to feed which is normal
they left me present a mole in one of the dishes

Sharing a cup of coffee with Piccolo, inside, for the last time. His buddy shows up today so we have to tell him he's a goat and he needs to live outside. I'll wait till he's on his second cup though, he's not reasonable till then.

I hope he takes it ok. I heard telling a goat he smells like a goat, walks like a goat, and is most likely a goat can be traumatic.

I hope he enjoys his last cup of coffee.


I am enjoying my great coffee, Amazon had it again, trying to motivate myself to go pick some puffballs. BUT the coffee is so good.

The WWD is doing better, but weak and tired. She is having some "problems" with bodily functions. And she is PO'd. This could come under TMI....

The hospital "accidentally" threw out her stool sample. So she is suppose to get one and bring it in...I will not be touching her for a week or two, that is so gross.


There is no duck in front of my TV!!!! But if this rain does not end there could be one in my yard....


I was going to go mushroom hunting this morning, but it is too wet out and looks like a nasty storm coming..

I have no idea why I want to go mushroom hunting, I have a puffball and hen of the woods in the fridge to eat now. I was waiting until WWD gets better to eat them, but I might just eat them myself for lunch today.
