Hi all, i am proud to say my first hatch was a success. i was able to hatch 3/7 eggs under a hen. their interactions are just priceless and i cannot be more thrilled to have to experience this part of 'life.' Needless to say, i know sizzle sexing is of the utmost difficulty, but would like the public opinion anyways on the three chicks. I am gonna also update this post once i know for certain what the gender is. Anyways, i hope these photos will help future sizzle sexings. Please let me know what you guys think?! There is a Satin, a Sizzle, and a Frizzled Silkie. Im leaning on the Satin being female (90% sure) but the the other two im 50/50 on. Thank you guys in advance!

Thank you for the quick replies. The pic is too close on the satin to where she looked silkie. attached is also the frizzle which I didn’t post. But I think she is a female for sure. Almost no comb and is exceptionally small in stature.

The silkie has a more of a rasp in its voice. funny the father was crowing at this age already. Any advice for a novice helps a lot.

Hi all, any thoughts on the frizzled silkie? (S)he is must larger than the satin and frizzle but I don’t see any behavioral differences between the three. thank you in advance
