Sizzle people - need an opinon

As a sizzle - aka from Frizzles, including cochin and polish and another breed, from a line that has carried this red since it started I think he might be E^R as opposed to e^b. Sarah's been trying to eliminate the red for years. Chuckle, me I think it's a feature not a bug.

Breeding him will show it in the end. I'm more than willing to play with it and find out. I figure it all depends on the cochins and other breeds back there since it's always been in the line.

I have my blue silkies and of course my white SG who is the baby daddy. I was trying for some better crested silkie babies but it looks like the eggs I got from Marie Martin aren't developing

They looked good when they arrived but I put them under the broodies without candling and the aircells are very detached. I might have one light blue chick with a potential for a good crest - but I'm trying to think if he has smooth hard feathers coming in or frizzled.

ETA: Went and looked at the 6 small chicks I kept. 2 white SG, 1 partridge "frilkie", 1 blue NN frilkie and

2 blue frilkies. One even has a lightly vaulted head.

At least I have the frizzle part down...
