skin around ankle doesnt look normal, help please

Hello all

I have a red, think a cross but she seems to have these bubbly growths on and around her ankle. She is perky and healthy besides. I am unable to tell if this is really abnormal or just really ugly legs and ankles. It does look slightly different than the others, would bumblefoot be the culprit? Any suggestions of what to look for or do? This is a great site, I have learned plenty in the last two years and I thank you all.

It would really help if you could post a picture so we could see what her ankle looks like. Bumblefoot generally causes swelling or a "bumble" usually on the bottom of the foot, and most times you will see a scab present. You might want to try searching for pictures of scaly leg mite damage to see if this looks similar to your chicken's leg.
