Skinned quail, what can i do for him??

My quail survived a similar injury. All I had to do was put neosporin on his injury and wash it. I believe he healed in about a month.

He's beautiful. Mine is all golden usually, but now he's golden and bluekote colored.

My little quail rooster is doin g really well.

Good to hear! They are tough little birds. They seem to be color biased, my golden italian and silver birds tend to be the most targeted for attacks. The deep reddish colored ones (range and Tibetan) seem to be the top aggressors. If you have enough of one color they will tend to stick together.

Here's an update on him. He's covered with bluekote.

Our boy is doing well. We've switched him to vetrycin now so we can easily tell how far along the healing has come.
