That is a great pic !!
@Alexc844 Skippy looks great, so happy to hear he is thriving with you and husbands care and attention, I love his color.Hey, it's been a while! But here are a couple of pictures of Skippy during his bath last night. He's doing really great! His feathers look a zillion times better, he's eating like a pig and he's really warming up to my husband and I. He's not nearly as territorial as he was, so we are feeling like we're doing something right! His beak is totally healed up. Other than his goofy wings, I'd say he's thriving.

Thank you!@Alexc844 Skippy looks great, so happy to hear he is thriving with you and husbands care and attention, I love his color.
A member on the goose thread recommended this for wings once he molts out his flight feathers wrap just like for angel wing, when new flight feathers grow in good chance they will lay like they are supposed to. Worth a try.
But he sure does look great. Thanks so much for updating. Does he mingle with the other ducks with your supervision?
Well it doesn't look like the extreme angel wing I have seen pics so I really don't know it could just be an abnormality of the bone. It sure won't hinder his life in any way. So i wouldn't worry about it at all. I'm happy to hear he has made a friend in your Golden, we've had a few they are the best dogs.![]()
This is extremely edited, as the original was very dark. But this is the best picture I seem to be able to get of his wings. I marked in black the extreme curvature of the wing, in hopes that you can tell me if this is normal or it is actually a deformity. He's filling out more, so it is only REALLY noticeable anymore when he is wet. Maybe it just looked weird because he was underweight?
