Skunk question??????

Something got in my coop last night and killed six of my chickens. It pulled the heads off my chickens and crapped in the coop. My question is: If a skunk has been in the coop, will I always be able to smell it or not?????

No not always. Sounds like a skunk or a weasel.

You may need to secure you coop better or close any open door or windows.
