"Promise?" she asked. Only her "promise" sounded more like "pro miss".

"Okay" Blue whispered, quite loudly this time. A short and stocky filly stepped out. She lifted her hooves high off the ground, avoiding patches of mud. Her coat was a swirling mix of white, blue, grey, and black with maybe a hint of another unrecognizable color. She had large deep black eyes that seemed to soak up her surroundings. She didn't have any clear white markings but for patches of more thickly clustered white hairs among the other shades. "Hi" she whispered loudly.

"What's yer name?" she asked curiously. Her short dark little mane still stood up, flopping from side to side as she walked towards the other mare.

"My names Jasmine" she replied watching the foal, make its way toward her.
