My layer amber star sleeps all day and feels lazy to eat.. What can be the problem

Check for lice/mites near her vent and wings.Lice and mites will drain the energy out of the bird.

There are no signs of lice, but she has lost weight drastically.

Chickens have very complex dietary needs in order to produce eggs and live Healthy lives.......Age appropriate feed is needed.....Less scraps...meaning hardly none..Oyster shell and granite grit......Water at all times.....
