SLW - Roo?

Hi -

I can't seem to figure out how to post a picture.... I'll work on figuring this out.

I have a 3 week old, SLW, I think. The crest (I'm not sure of the technical term) is more prominent than the 3 week old GLW, and starting to be a pinky-orange. Also, the chick is starting to get small waddles that are also pinky-orange.

This chick is more "flighty" than the other chickens, and tends to be more assertive, even with the older chicks.

Sounds like a rooster? I'll work on posting a picture. Do pullets start getting the waddles at 3 weeks?

Yes, if at three weeks, you already have color in the comb and wattles, you have a Wyandotte cockerel.
