I went out today, to collect eggs. Seems my girls are ALL getting into laying better. Now, my Banty Cochins are starting to lay ...and this is what I got today....

Now, isnt that the smallest egg you have ever seen?? I dont want to crack it..and I am afrait to try and blow it out..but I want to keep it! [IMG]

I got this one today from a new laying Welsummer.
I took a pic WITH the first tiny one...Never a dull moment here!

If you want to keep it you can dry it. Place it in a dry place in your house. Turn it once a day or every other day to keep the contents moving and evaporating. It will dry out over a period of months.

I had one about that size--marble. I just love it. I dried mine.

GOSH!! That is soooo teeny tiny and soooo cute!!! There used to be a BYC member named Toni who would use some sort of finish on eggs and make them into ornaments. I think she moved to another country. Too bad. She could have really turned that little egg into a gem...although it's one anyway!
