Mine do come if I call when they are free ranging. But they have also learned to generalize since I'm the only one that goes out during the day, and then pretty much only to feed them. It's not like there's a house full of people going in and out all day, so they'd learn to ignore the sound of the door slamming all day long. It's just me.

My Ameraucanas and EEs are the only ones that can figure out how to jump into the goat pen and jump out again. All the others get confused and pace the fence, until it gets dark, and then they jump on the fence to roost.

i trained them not to do that in case something dangerous were near me or something also so I'm not tripping over them

Mine are in large coops, & runs.

I forgot. I do have a Marans/American Game cross rooster, who does come when I call him, or will follow me around like a puppy.
