Smoke in the air....

Tried to take a picture of the sun, but it went behind the trees before I could get back to a clear spot with my camera - it was a deep red-orange. Beautiful, but eerie. For those of you not in No. Calif and wondering why we're all complaining - here's what it's looking like around our place. Liz

I feel you, its TERRIBLE! I feel like im in LA (no offense LA people) because i cant see all my rolling hills, just their sillouettes in the hazy smoke. Gross.

I'm in the Seattle, WA area and we've been getting CA fire smog.

I have asthma, and am visiting my DD in central cal. It's awful. We went to Tahoe the other day, also took a trip to Jamestown. Smoke everywhere. I havent had to use my inhaler so much since I lived in Nebraska! Can't wait till Friday to head home! And the HEAT! Ugh!

We havent had smoke lately, thank the Lord. I know about that eerie sun though. We were surrounded by smoke a couple of weeks ago and it was just a perfectly solid orange ball, it was pretty creepy. Good luck and stay safe.

I know how you feel...living in Montana we've had the fires non-stop the past 5 years....this year we finally got a reprieve ! Snow in June sucks.....but it's better than fire ! 2 years ago we had the horses loaded up because it was 1 mile from our house....thankfully they had it contained . Hope it gets better !

We are lucky (in the SF bay area) that the wind is currently blowing the other way and we arent getting smoke on top of the heat.
