Smoky Mtn East TN

the TSC in sevierville by me now, had guinea keets for five dollars about a week ago when was there last, and was supposed to get more and turkeys as well. Ive had these hatchery bantams for at least about two months for my buddy, but he hasnt been able to get them yet, and part of me doesnt want to take them back, as know they wont do well at all again.. he says at times that i can find better homes if i can, and im considering putting add up for some or keeping some. they are looking to be: two white silkie mixes. one silkie cochin mix. one silkie serama mix. one OEGB EE/ameraucana mix. two black austrolorps. im not going to try to tell what i think sexes, as anyone who got poults from me before knows im terrible at it apparently.

So.. finally found a place out in country enough to do some decent hobby farming! this place has a fertile field bordered by a stream for crops that used to be farmed, with rich soft fertile soil still. a spring that feeds water up to the surface, and to an open pump well, with another spring feeding a fish pond that was dug out. also it has two chicken coops, one or two goat pens, and a dog run or two. the guy said i can have chickens and goats and use the pens even. ill be back in cocke county out down the road from my fam, so lets hope that works out well, and my ma and gma dont out fish the pond, though then i could fix it up and plant nice water plants in and around it to spruce up (it has supposedly one huge catfish, two koi, and seen some of the huge bluegills). so starting and have been trying to set all up and get ready to move.

laughingdog- congrats on finding a place in the country so you can have chickens. Good luck!

On another note: I went to the show in Newport today. I saw a couple of friends and ending up bringing a young pullet back from one of them

I did not stay to see how the judging went. I don't think they had as many entries as they did last Fall. I also don't think there were as many large fowl entries.

What's wrong with her ? Sorry it's. very nasty pic I just need help

Sorry but I have no idea. Have you tried posting in the Emergency & Disease thread? I would think they can help. Just be sure to list all the symptoms leading up to & including what's going on now. Also list her breed, age, etc.

Please let us know what you find out and again sorry I can't help.

I looked on the diseases and stuff part of the fourm and found nothing, and she just started having a nasty looking behind .

I would suggest posting in the Emergency & Disease thread because you will get replies/suggestions/help. I know I have searched threads before and did not get any answers until I posted in the Emergency & Disease thread.

Again I am sorry but I don't know what it is. Good luck in finding out and let us know if you find out.
