Sneezing chicken clear nasal discharge

I recently adopted a pair of silkie roosters from someone who was treating them for leg mites. Its all cleared up now, but there's another problem.

One of the roosters has been sneezing and has clear nasal discharge. He doesn't have any other symptoms yet. The other has been yawning, but that's about it.

Could this be a potential respiratory illness? I've only had them for less than a day, but the person who was fostering them said that the vet cleared them of ant respiratory illnesses. However, I'm not sure when their last visit was. Any advice appreciated. Thanks.

I had a chicken with those exact symptoms and took her to the vet...$160 later and she was cleared for anything contagious but vet put her on antibiotics for a bacterial infection. They didn't help but she eventually got better. I don't know if VetRx or some other homeopathic stuff helped her symptoms but I did use them after the antibiotics and that's when she started to improve. I don't know if that helps

How often is she sneezing? Does it seem more often when she is eating crumbles or pellets? Can you see any bubbles or foam in either eye?

If they’re sneezing after a coop cleaning or when they are eating pellets or crumbles, this is common and nothing to worry about. If they are sneezing often without a cause, it may be a mild respiratory infection such as Mycoplasma Gallisepticum (MG) or Infectious Coryza. You can read more about them here —
