I have a rooster who got jumped by another rooster- a bannie and he is gone to another home by the way- and my rooster stayed in the coop for over 24 hours. I tried allowing him to fend for himself but he is so sweet and timid he decided staying in the coop with the girls was the best idea. I removed him and noticed a few days after that he had a snotty nose. I put him into chicken hospital and gave him Vet RX, oregano, and apple cider vinegar in his water. His snot is all cleared up but now he sneezes randomly. What do I need to do?? I want him to have his girlfriends back but I can’t risk them!

How often is he sneezing during the day? My hens sneeze every so often, so it’s not a concern. Is he sneezing non-stop or only a few times during the day?
He sneezes constantly- actually not sure if it is an actual sneeze but it is reminds me of one. It has only happened since he got sick and I thought was a 100% well.

It sounds like he still may have a respiratory infection of some sort or he may be aspirating some fluids (fluids getting into the lungs). VetRX is like Vick's Vapo Rub for chickens, more of a remedy than actual medication, though I'm sure it helps.

Can you take a video of him sneezing and upload so we can watch him?

I'm not sure of what medications you can give for respiratory infections (still learning), but let's see if some others may be able to help, also bumping this thread to get some more responses:

Can you please get a video of him? Upload video to YouTube and provide a link.

You mention he sneezes randomly, but then the next post you mention he sneezes constantly - which is it? Random/ocassionally or constant?
Is he able to eat/drink on his own?
Can he walk/move around - is he fairly active?

He was jumped by another rooster - where was he attacked? Was he beat around the head?
Eyes and nostrils clear?
How long ago was he attacked?

Please get some photo of him too - face, eyes, nostrils and inside of beak.
Thanks!
