I'm new to owning ducks and these two are my first. I just got them this week. They must be no more than a week old. Lately, one of my ducklings has been sneezing. It just started yesterday, it's not very consistent, but happens often throughout the day. I took a video so everyone could see. I thought that maybe it was due to the water dish being too small, so I switch to the current one which is deep enough for them. Then I thought it might be because of the pine shavings. So I washed the bin, carefully placed pine shavings, and then placed shelf liners on top to keep the dust to a minimum and to keep them from eating the shavings. I also let them swim in warm water to help them clean whatever dust they may have. She eats and drinks just fine. The sneezing is the only issue I have observed. Can anyone tell me if I should worry? When should I worry?

Also, should I worry about them shaking their head? Or is this just a common behavior after they drink water?

Ducklings sneeze a bit its normal, they are very dusty and so of the shavings
Ducks also need a water supply that is deep enough to cover their bill because they wash out their bills and nares in water, unlike chickens who dont have that issue

If you are worried shine a light in their nose holes and make sure its not impacted with crumbled feed or bits of down, and get a deeper water dish.

try to get them in a warm bath tub or pan of water on a daily bases, its very healthy for them aslong as all the soap is very well rinsed out of the tub

Very cute ducklings by the way!
