Snow time and December peeps

The chicks first snow. Only a few braved walking on the weird white stuff.

What great photos! I know what you mean about only a few are brave enough to walk on the snow. They didn't mind it too much when it was just a dusting to an inch, but now that's it's deeper, they won't touch it. Thankfully, I got a covered area for them that I finished a week or so before it snowed.

Someday, I'd love to have a broody. I always love the photos of the "moms" with their chicks.

HEY!!!! How much snow did ya'll get? How's the little one?

Your birds look wonderful!! Hard to believe they were all little peeps in a rubbermaid tote at Easter!

I had to give mine up due to a battle with cancer, but will be looking to get more come spring!!

We got 7 inches. A lot for NC! The chickens are all doing fine. Had to get rid of my mean rooster (he was the "mystery chick") But traded him for a nice one I hope you are feeling better and are ready for some fluffy butts this spring!
