So beautiful, but what am I?

LOL...not a problem.

I am always looking for an excuse to check out the different breeds anyway. There are so many it would take forever to look at each one.

momma's chickens :

I may way off base here, but she sort of looks like my buttercup.

I was going to say she looks like my Buttercup pullets did

I definitely see a resemblance on the Welsummers. THAT would be too cool!!! I have been wanting some really dark brown egg layers.

I may end up having to get some Buttercups now, though. They are so pretty. As soon as my incubator is empty I plan on trying to do a "dream hatch". Trying to get eggs for the chickens I (and my kids) want most.

I got two buttercups at the feed store this year and they were suppose to be both be pullets but one of them is a roo.

Moonwalker, is your roo nice, mine seems to be a lamb so far.

Hoping he stays that way.

She's so beautiful and reminds me a lot of my fluffy butt EE chicks. What kind of comb does she have?? It's hard to tell if it's a pea comb or single comb. The name Sophie fits her to a 't'!!

She has a perfect little single comb. And yellow legs, no muff/beard/etc. of any kind......so I am certain she isn't an EE, but yeah, she really does give that feel.

I agree, I am gonna tell her this morning that her name is now Sophie.....it really does suit her.
