* Actually, we had a very famous case where an 11 ft. python ATE a whole 9 ft. alligator, killing itself (the python) in the process, because it couldn't drag itself out of the water to heat up and digest the gator. . . Literally bit off more than it could chew.

I've lived here twice, age 11 to 23, then, came back at when my own kids were about the same age to help take care of my MIL. She passed a year and a half ago, so we are looking for a new place to be at moment. Massive over-development has really ruined it here, sadly.

My son caught two of them in his grandfather's front yard about a month ago. He lives in Fort Pierce, Florida. Those got blown in back when Andrew came through and they have continued to populate since. hehehehe

I understand they're starting to find feral iguanas around San Diego, too. I know someone who found an 8-foot python there, one night, too. He took it home with him.

Around San Jose, we have a colony of feral cockatiels. My late best friend was always trying to catch them, but never succeeded. I much prefer naturalized exotic birds to naturalized exotic reptiles.
