so sad

Awesome pics!

Also, 2 of 3 of my kids sleep in, so it is relatively peaceful in the AM.

Wickednerd - I am the same way, I'll wake up on my own, but DO NOT attempt to wake me unless you want a bloody nose.

I'm sometimes still awake for the sunrises, especially if I'm having to be up anyway to work a 3rd shift at the shelter like I will tonight...or really early tomorrow morning if you prefer.

However, I happily am wide awake for star gazing, meteor showers, lunar eclipses, and comet passings. I figure that it evens out.

Just to emphasize the point: Kristy is now sound asleep. Has been for a couple hours by now. I'm wide awake and starting my work day...er night. I'm perky as all get out.

I used to have to be a morning person...until I started college and I was able to pick classes that started at 11 a.m. or after noon. Then I turned into a night owl.

I don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing. Even if I do miss day breaking, I don't miss the sun setting, and usually that's an even prettier sight here in the desert

Oh it is. I drove through the desert when I was moving back to Alabama. It was a gorgeous sight to see the sunset...though it was also gorgeous to see the sunrise there too. Hehe, different shades of the same colors.
