So so sad!!!

I just found my 7 month old sweet Cream Leg Bar dead in her crate!! She seemed "depressed" at roosting time last night so I brought her in, made her a bed and gave her water. I made her drink and she appeared thirsty. She appeared to wish to be left alone today and usually wanting to be held by nudging when she wants attention. I noticed that she did not eat much nor scratch much today so that's why I brought her in. When I picked her up she felt lighter than normal so I felt like maybe she needed hydration...on a day that was rainy...but she was out of the rain. When I was getting ready for bed I went to check on her and she was crouched with her head down like she does when she is asleep at night. I picked her up and she felt cold and I wasn't getting much perkiness when I was talking to her. She usually seems as if she is listening intently but not tonite. So I dropped a couple drops of electrolytes in her water and she took a couple good drinks. I thought maybe she was a little cold so I turned on the light bulb for a little warmth and went on to bed. When I just got up she was still crouched down, but her head was flopped over and she was gone!! When we first brought her home, she slept and roomed in our goat pen with our Nanny goat and 2 month old. She literally slept nudged up against and on top of the Nanny. For more space for our chickens, we re-homed the goats two weeks ago and seemed content on her own. We have free range yard chickens but our pure Asiels are paired up and have their own pens. The yard flock were soooo mean to her in the beginning when we got her so hence putting her with goats. Just wondering if I missed something or maybe she grieved herself to death?? Not sure if a chicken will do that since I'm so new to this. She would have been 26 weeks this week...
