We've been getting those "slight rain" weather reports too. We get a dark cloud and we all get excited and .......nothing. And no rain in sight that I can see, just threats lately. I'm sorry about your tree. Those aren't cheap either.
Awww poor dog. Which dog are you talking about? Not your service one!?
Thought we were going to get some good rain this evening. Got my hopes up and I think I scared it off. It rained somewhere. Could see the sky lighting up all around us but.......... I'm on the top of one of the smaller mountains in the western piedmont of NC. You can just about see 360* especially if you go up the street a bit. I think that is why we miss a lot of the rain, it rains itself out before it gets to us. Good thing is, even though we may get a bunch of wind, we don't get the wind sheers, or microbursts like just 5 miles away.
So glad things went well today. You are AWESOME!! You have taken total control of this and not allowed one bit of doubt enter your mind. You are going to beat this and I think the cancer knows it too! I'm sure it's packing it's bags and looking for someone else to harrass. This is the attitude that EVERYONE facing this disease needs to win!!
I had a place "out" on the enclosed patio. I was there for hours, most of it asleep but it was my place to escape. I would talk with folks at first and then apologize that I was going to be knocked out soon due to the benedryl. Most of the time, the rest of the folks out there were only there for a short time or were knocked out like me, lol. In the front room there was a big fish tank and folks all seemed to know each other. I sat out there one time towards the end of my treatments. I felt soooooo exposed, lol. Just couldn't get comfortable out there. There as another area where folks who wanted to be alone or with a family member would sit.
Yes it's my Service Dog, Spook. We had to take her back into the vet this morning. She's not doing well. She is in the early stages of kidney failure. We are trying to get things started again with Iv fluids. I give them to her every 4-6 hours. Right now it's touch and go. I was so excited earlier when she actually pee'd, lol. We will know one way or the other before the weekend is over. I've not prepared myself to say good-bye to her yet. I just lost my 17year old Bashful kitty. Not ready to do it again so soon.
Remember POSITIVE THOUGHTS!! That's all that is allowed!!
