I have Colan Cancer, had a section remove stage 3 cancer, Took 6 months of Chemo. My DIL said one thing to me to get me to take the chemo.
She is a nurse and works at a children cancer ward. She said "I see these children fighting this disease, and you thing you can't fight it"
The chemo, wasn't a cake walk , but I got thru it. With the new Meds they have, I didn't even get that sick, just a little weak. May 5 2010 will be 2yrs since I had a section of my colon removed.
So if you every need to chat shoot me a email.
Know you can beat this cancer, just used every thing you can, the chemo is one of the biggest weapon you can used to fight this horrible disease.

I would like you two to know that I have that stupid song from "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" going thru my head and visions of those claymation puppets!! "put one foot in front of the other and soon you will be walking across the floor-or-or....just put one foot in front of the other and soon you will be walking out the door."
Got her at PetSmart today. I couldn't leave her there. She has limited sight and is just too dang cute!! "The Kids" aren't real happy with her, but what do they know, they are teenagers. Today is her birthday, she is actually 1 year old today!!

Thank you for posting that deerman. I don't know your email, but if I throw a few Q's your way in this post, would you mind PMing me a few answers? 1st, Congrats on your almost 2 year anniversary. Yea!
How was your chemo therapy? How much did you need to do for your therapy? And how long did you have your chemo for? I understand the weak part, after all the chemical is getting the good stuff along with the bad stuff. Just reaching out for some answers, since I've never had to deal with this before. As I'm sure you didn't either before your diagnosis. Crappy thing this cancer, ain't it? Thank you for reaching out.

awwww! her name was Luna before you got her?
Actually her name was Masha. As in Marsha, Marsha, Marsha! DH told me to name her lucky because today was her "Lucky Day". She is a silvery grey, like the color of moonlight. I "asked" her what her name was and she told me Luna. I threatened to name her "Swiffer" after the Swiffer duster of a tail she has but Luna is the only thing she will answer to.
